The
Manx team selected for the CYG will be small – in 2008 in Pune, India, the IOM
were allocated 10 competitors across all sports, and it is expected to be the
same in 2011 as there is a cap of 1,000 competitors for all sports in the games.
There has been a change to age groups - this falls in line with Governing Body
'Youth' ages which, for the I.A.A.F and athletics, is 16 and 17 in 2011. As a
result the IOMAA has set the following AAA U17 standards for consideration:
