As usual we would like to remind spectators that dogs are NOT permitted on school property, please arrive early to use the car parks or car share where possible.

Many thanks to Mr Winstanley, the headmaster of Castle Rushen High School for allowing us hold the event at the school. Mr Winstanley has asked that competitors and spectators please respect school property and do all they can to remove mud from their footwear before entering the school buildings.  We would also like to thank Mr Paul Costain for the usage and access of his land.  We would ask that all competitors and spectators keep to edges of the fields so newly planted crops aren’t damaged.

Western AC host the second event on 5th November with Northern AC doing likewise on 3rd December. The last event which is also the Isle of Man Athletics Cross Country Championships takes place on 21st January again hosted by Manx Harriers. As ever we expect some fantastic competition over the season and results and reports will appear on this website and in the local press.

Finally Isle of Man Athletics wish to thank Microgaming for their much appreciated sponsorship of this very popular and competitive league event.

We need you for cross country – Urgently!

The cross country season is nearly upon us and we urgently require a number of volunteers to assist the existing cross country committee.

Specifically we are looking for people who can help out on the administration side of the organisation registering the athletes, creating the entry lists and issuing numbers etc.

This is NOT an onerous job but it is vital for the smooth running of the Cross Country League.  The volunteers will be required for an initial sign on night 1-2 hours and then for 1-2 hours on the race days.  We are looking for a number of people so the duties can be shared.

If you you can spare a couple of hours each month then please email chairman@IOMAA.info or Andy Fox on andycfox@outlook.com

Thank you in advance.
